This boho-inspired flower crown brings that cozy, cottagecore feel everyone loves. The flower design fits mini to medium amigurumi animals (bunnies, mice, bears, ducks, chicks, lambs, etc.). The flexible design makes it easy to adjust for different plush sizes!

FLOWER CROWN PATTERN
ABBREVIATIONS (US Terms):
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- sc = single crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
MATERIAL NEEDED:
- Medium weight (4) yarn - Lion Brand, Heartland
- Flower colours: Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Badlands
- Leaf colour: Rocky Mountains
- 4 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Any of your favourite Cosy crochet patterns!
NOTES:
- I crochet using the yarn over/yarn over method.
- The numbers within parentheses at the end of each round/row are the total number of stitches for that round [ex. (18)].
- For the flower: the stitches noted as “[...,...,...]” are to be worked in the same stitch.
- Repeat the stitches between the parentheses noted as (...,...,...,...) x the number of times noted.
PATTERN:
Flower
Start a magic ring and work round 1:
Round 1 - (ch 2, [1 sc, 1 dc, 1 hdc], 1 sl st) x 5 (30)
The flower will have 5 petals.
End with a slip stitch, bind off and leave a long tail for sewing on.
Make as many flowers in all the colours that you love!
Leaf:
Leave a long starting tail to be used to sew on.
Round 1 – chain 4 (4) start round 2 in the 2nd chain from the hook
Round 2 – 1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc in the last chain space (now working the other side of the chain) 1 hdc, 1 sc (7) sl st to the first sc, bind off and weave in the finishing tail.
Make as many leaves as you would like!
ATTACHING THE FLOWER + LEAF:
FLOWER: With the tapestry needle, sew to the top of the head of your favourite Cosy pattern, sew the middle of the flower directly to the head. I like to leave the edges of the petals loose and not fully attached to the head.
LEAF: With the tapestry needle, sew to the top of the head of your favourite Cosy pattern, securing the wider part of the leaf to the head. Tip: I did not sew around the entire leaf when attaching. I left the smaller part of the leaf unattached.
