I'm Tara and I'm the maker, designer, and creative heart behind The Cosy Stitch. What started as a quiet hobby quickly turned into something I truly love sharing with others.

I specialize in designing crochet patterns (including handmade loveys, plushies, chubby buddies, and more), designed to bring a little extra joy, comfort, and creativity into everyday life. Each piece is thoughtfully made with simplicity, cuteness, functionality, and beginner-friendliness, so whether you’re a fellow maker or shopping for someone special, you’ll find something meaningful here.

I’m especially inspired by all kinds of things: nature, cozy moments, childhood nostalgia, animals, seasonal themes, which is why you’ll often see a wide range of pattern designs, including farm animals, woodland creatures, baby gifts, and more, woven into my designs.

When I’m not crocheting, you can usually find me spending time with family, enjoying iced coffee, and planning new designs (on my growing list of plans).
